Recreation: The NZ Outdoor Adventure Expo is the largest display and sale of outdoor adventure products and services in New Zealand.
The event aims to encourage active lifestyles and is targeted at families and weekend warriors. It encompasses a wide variety of outdoor pursuits from camping, cycling, tramping, water sports and snow sports to destinations, outdoor education options and national industry sector organisations.
In 2010 the Jeff Gray BMW Golf Expo was added to the programme, showcasing the latest in golf clubs, resorts, clothing and equipment.
In 2012 the Recreation Expo Do-athlon will be added to the programme. It is a parent and child team event, with the aim of participation ... "you can DO it!"
An assault course and outdoor cooking competition will also be added to the 2012 programme.
